The Taras Sub Diving Center offers its loyal customers a rich range of recreational dives for each capacity and certification level. The steel and aluminum single cylinder from 10-12-15-18 liters and ballast are included for each type of dive.

Beach
Guided dive starting from the shore. Suitable for all patent levels and excellent for training dives and after periods of inactivity. Seabed that degrades slowly. Sightings of Nobilis Fins.
Gommoriva
Guided dive with arrival on the dive site with the dinghy. Exploration of the rocky bathymetry in front of the Fontana bay with return directly into the diving basin.
Source of the Chidro
Suggestive immersion in fresh water with a counter-current initial. Exceptional visibility comparable to an aquarium. Particular habitat composed of wonderful flora and fauna with bright green and white colors. Safe sightings of numerous eels and large sea bass and opportunities to watch predatory bird dives. Calcareous forest
Guided dive starting from the shore on one of the rare sites of geological interest. One can observe the amusement of mother nature in having created trunks of trees and branches with the rock.
Sgarrata Tower
Dinghy guided dive. Descent on rocky depths from a depth of 14 meters to 22 meters. Exploration of the rock face with the possibility of spotting lobsters, cones and numerous morays.
Conca delle monache
Dinghy guided dive. Challenging dive on a ridge that starts at 33 meters up to 50 meters. Sighting of groupers and lobsters.
Porto Pirrone
Dinghy guided dive. Descent on a long wall composed of ravines and small caves starting from 18 meters up to 33 meters. Sightings of lobsters, morays, groupers and barracudas. In the night version it is possible to admire the Alicia Mirabilis.
Capo San Vito
Dinghy guided dive. Descent on a long wall composed of ravines and small caves starting from 18 meters up to 33 meters. Sightings of lobsters, morays, groupers, lobsters and Pinne Nobilis.
Punta la Forca
Dinghy guided dive. Site located west of the Island of San Pietro in the Cheradi archipelago. Fantastic backdrop characterized by rock panettone, a favorite habitat of many Mediterranean fish types.
Mar Piccolo Pali delle cozze
Taranto scuba diving – Dinghy guided dive. Exploration of mussel gardens. This dive site is the preferred habitat for photographers and marine biologists due to the high concentration of nudibranchs and the various forms of microfauna present. Presence of seahorse colonies.
Mar Piccolo Citro Acqua dolce
Taranto scuba diving – Dinghy guided dive. Immersion on a source of fresh water that comes out from a depth of 1yu mt, having a mouth of mt. 2 in diameter and with a flow rate of fresh water so high that it can already be appreciated from the surface.
Night
Night versions of the above described diurnal dives. Fantastic scenarios totally different from the day.
Dolphin whatching
Excursion in rubber boat for the sighting of dolphins in a known area of the Gulf of Taranto. We will have on board our rubber boat the biologist Vincenzo Prunella expert in Cetaceans who will explain the life of the dolphins during the excursion.
